وی تصریح كرد: هنرمندان طراح فرش سراسر كشور می توانند با مراجعه به ادارات صنعت، معدن و تجارت، طرح خود را معرفی كنند.

ملكی جو افزود: مركز ملی فرش ایران در كمیته ای مركب از خبرگان و كارشناسان،به بررسی آثارارائه شده می پردازد و با همكاری وزارت فرهنگ و ارشاد اسلامی، حق اثر برای هنرمندان ثبت می شود.

وی، ثبت آثار معنوی هنرمندان فرش ایران درجهان را نیز ضروری دانست و گفت: این امر در آینده نزدیك و بر اساس معاهدات بین المللی در برخی از نقاط كشور محقق خواهد شد تا به این وسیله راه سودجویان بسته شود.
